Storybox were approached to develop an experiential activation strategy for the ‘Bring The Noise’ campaign developed by Draft FCB (#bringthenoise) for the 2017 Sevens Rugby Championship in Wellington.
The resulting public activation developed by Storybox was called The Noise Patrol. It involved the procurement, branding and distribution of a range of different size megaphones from large (and extra-large) metal megaphones to be used for publicity and at events to small handheld plastic megaphones as giveaways at events.
In addition, NZRU asked us to produce two short videos to complement the public activations.
The first focussed on the Noise Patrol activation and featured members of the public from school children to office workers to airport fire rescue staff, all bringing the noise to their workplace. The video also featured Wellington Mayor Justin Lester.
The second video featured an animated text conversation between two people busting myths about the upcoming Sevens event. Both videos appeared on the Sevens official Facebook page and attracted over 11,000 views.
