The challenge was to create a brand that encompassed the speed and momentum of a movement, with the passion and potential of our up and coming new Sevens heroes.
To create a coherent, inspired and memorable brand for the Under 20’s Emerging Sevens Tournament.
We needed to effectively communicate what it will be to participate in this event. This meant we had to find a way to represent the aspirations of young New Zealand sportspeople and show how New Zealand Rugby would support their up and coming stars. We explored key insights representative of the excitement and speed of Sevens Rugby.
By developing a strong rationale of key insights we have created a lasting brand identity that can stand strong as the tournament grows and evolves. The brand is about articulating the spirit of Sevens with the intention to inspire young New Zealanders to make their dreams come true.
